You shouldn’t assume it is. Turkey is not part of the EU/EEA free roaming area. Some carriers might include Turkey in certain plans or as an add-on, but you must check. Before using your usual SIM, ask your carrier about the data limits, fair use rules, and charges for Turkey. Then you can compare that with a travel eSIM for the same amount of data and trip length.
